Stavordale House has a beautiful traditional front garden planted with roses and lavender. The rear of the house is surrounded by a traditional Somerset hamstone wall with a good selection of plants, including climbing roses and clematis, and paved seating area in which to enjoy refreshments. To the side of the house, follow the gravelled path past the pond with water lilies to the two acre arboretum planted with specimen trees 20 years ago, including a boundary oak some 350 years old overlooking spectacular view to the hills beyond.
A cup of tea and homemade cake are included in the entry price.
