Mitton Manor is a beautiful seven-acre garden of unique artistic sculpture and perfectly-crafted topiary.
Developed since 2001 from an overgrown wilderness, it surrounds a Victorian manor house which, while not open to the public, provides influence for the theme of the garden.
Owner Elizabeth Gooch MBE, will take us on a tour of the gardens, where we will wander through the many garden rooms, including rose gardens, a hornbeam avenue, a hot garden, the pergola walk, golden laburnum tunnel, a woodland pool and, new for 2018, a Victorian potager.
The formal gardens with their many rooms of circles, curves and perfectly straight lines, will inspire you to take the different paths through this elegantly laid-out design.
Following the tour, there will be the opportunity to relax by the swimming pool for light refreshments, or alternatively, these will be served in the garden café.
