Roses are stunning in their own right but carefully teamed with other plants brings both the roses and the under-planting together in a beautiful harmonious whole. As well as extending the flowering season of your mixed border, a healthy blend of differing species will minimize the likelihood of pests and diseases which favour roses when they are planted alone.

Professional gardener Thomas Stone will lead us through the maze of matching the romantic blooms of the rose with their complimentary partners.

Thomas has been gardening since leaving school in 1989 and worked in numerous private and public gardens including Mottisfont Abbey and Sir Harold Hillier gardens. He is now a freelance horticulturist specialising in roses, pruning, including topiary, border care and wildlife gardening.

Admission price of £15 includes entry to the sculpture park. T
