Moggerhanger Park is holding it's first plant fair in association with Plant Heritage (Herts & Beds Group). The event will be held in our Walled Garden and will host a selection of specialist nurseries, entry to the plant fair £3, children under 16 free, money raised from the entry fee will go towards the restoration of the Walled Garden.

Moggerhanger Park, a grade I listed Georgian mansion set in 33 acres of grade II listed grounds designed by Humphry Repton, is of considerable significance as an individual work by Repton who first visited Moggerhanger in 1792. Repton produced a red book for the estate detailing his proposed improvements to the landscape for owner Godfrey Thornton, unusually the work based on the Moggerhanger red book of 1792 was extended by a further visit from Repton, which resulted in revisions noted in his supplement to the red book dated 1798, Humphry Repton would go on to work at nearby commissions at Woburn Abbey and Wimpole Hall.

Why not visit our Garden Rooms Café where you will find lots of fun, and family friendly, garden themed activities, parking and entry to the parkland is free.
